In a modern construction restructured of recent, the sons of Elisa and Dana continuous the tradition of family with restaurant.
In the restaurant you can taste the typical cousine of Lunigiana: fresh homemade pasta, savory pies, mushrooms and wild meat. Our specialty is grilled meat, cooked on the barbecue and we recommend to taste delicious dishes made ‘under the lid’, in “Testo”
The restaurant has an extensive terrace where to have meals with a beatiful view on the valley and it is an ideal place to host wedding lunches or dinners, sporting price-givings, birthday parties and ceremonies.

We organize themed evenings with local recipes as focaccette and panigacci. These types of breads are cooked in a “testo”, a flat terracotta plate, varying in size, which is heated over a lively flame, instead of in an oven. They can be eaten with local cold cuts and cheeses

AN INCREDIBLE TASTE
COOKING IN “TESTO”
In the restaurant of Hotel Elisa it’ possible taste the dishes prepared in the traditional “testo”: it is an old piece of cooking equipment used in the Lunigiana, made in cast iron and in earthenware in the past. It’s a sort of pot consisting of two parts: the lower part is called sottano, while the upper part, the cone-shaped lid, is soprano. In this particular pot you can prepare meat dishes, bread, pizza and pies.
